Erongo Auto Electric CC is the foremost supplier of light and heavy duty auto-electrical components and related services in Namibia. The company is proudly 100% Namibian owned and is creating lasting employment opportunities for almost 30 staff.
Erongo Auto Electric was founded in May 1999 by Joachim Stauder, Michael Stauder and Bernd Finkeldeh. After growing rapidly, the Stauder brothers bought out Mr. Finkeldeh in 2004 and moved to bigger premises. The company continued to grow from strength to strength and in 2012 built their own modern premises to, amongst others, facilitate a sales department. Since then, the company provides a wide range of quality parts and products to both business and individual customers. Currently, the company employs 25 permanent staff in the workshop, sales department and administration department.
The firm’s focus is on sourcing OEM and specialized auto-electrical, replacement components for the light duty and 4 x 4 market as well as for operators of heavy-duty automotive, earth-moving, construction, agricultural, transport and mining machinery. In addition to sourcing, Erongo Auto Electric is committed to the development and innovation of auto-electrical products and services.

The pivot for all activities hinges around the directors, supported by a dedicated, hand-picked team of staff, providing a blend of youth and experience, enthusiasm and pragmatism.
We strongly believe in providing ongoing valuable education and training to our staff to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills. Hence our company is sending young Electricians for further training to South Africa on a regular basis. We are proud that several of our employees are working with us since inception of the company in 1999.

Company Directors
Michael Paul Stauder
Owner and co-founder Michael Stauder started an apprenticeship with Walvis Bay based company Diesel Electric in 1993. In order to broaden his practical experiences he graduated from Pietermaritzburg Technical College in South Africa. In 1996 he qualified as an Auto Electrician and one year later was promoted to workshop foreman. He held this position until he successfully started Erongo Auto Electric in 1999.
Joachim Stauder
Owner and co-founder Joachim Stauder started his apprenticeship as Diesel Mechanic in Walvis Bay with GDI in 1993. A year later he changed companies and began an Auto Electrician apprenticeship with Diesel Electric. He graduated from Pietermaritzburg Technical College in South Africa in 1997 and qualified the same year. He incorporated Erongo Auto Electric together with his brother in 1999.
